Mark Alberding is a self-taught photographer living and working as an educator in the metropolitan Tokyo area.  He began his lifelong association with photography with a 35MM Agfa rangefinder camera in the early 1970’s while growing up in Geneva, Switzerland, making the transition to digital in Japan in 2001. In addition to 35MM, medium format, and digital photography, he has worked in Regular 8, Super-8 and 16MM film, and various video formats.
